Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex public health policies to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Develop actionable policy recommendations for state legislators and agency leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement evidence-based health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative hearings and public forums
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Colorado's public health framework
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community partners and advocacy groups
- Maintain compliance with state transparency and accountability standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and data-driven decision making
- Strong proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing deadlines
- Knowledge of Colorado's legislative process and public health systems
- Valid Colorado driver's license (may be required for travel)
