Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex health policy issues to inform strategic recommendations
- Develop legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks for agency initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders including legislators, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and testimony for legislative sessions
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting public health priorities

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Deep knowledge of Texas legislative processes and health policy landscape
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or similar)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and public testimony
- Valid Texas driver's license required
