Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex healthcare policies using quantitative/qualitative analysis
- Collaborate with congressional staff, advocacy groups, and other federal agencies
- Prepare high-impact policy briefs and testimony for congressional hearings
- Manage cross-functional teams for policy implementation projects
- Analyze legislative proposals for alignment with agency mission and budget constraints
- Represent HHS at national conferences and stakeholder meetings
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise policy research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience with healthcare focus
- Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid programs and Affordable Care Act implementation
- Proficient in policy modeling software (e.g., Stata, R) and data visualization tools
- Strong writing skills with demonstrated policy publications
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Experience managing federal budgets and grant programs
