Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate municipal policies across transportation, housing, and economic development sectors
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare comprehensive briefing documents for city council members
- Lead cross-departmental task forces to implement strategic initiatives
- Manage public consultation processes and stakeholder engagement programs
- Present policy recommendations to elected officials and community boards
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or municipal policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven track record of developing successful city-level policies
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with executive experience
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
