Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using quantitative/qualitative research
- Collaborate with legislative bodies and community stakeholders on health initiatives
- Analyze healthcare data trends and prepare actionable policy recommendations
- Lead cross-departmental projects addressing health equity challenges
- Present findings to senior leadership and public forums
- Monitor federal/state legislation affecting public health programs
- Maintain compliance with Illinois Administrative Code requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Deep understanding of Illinois healthcare systems and regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proven track record in health equity initiatives
- Valid Illinois driver's license (for occasional field visits)
