Responsibilities
- Analyze complex fiscal data and economic trends to inform state policy decisions
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for legislative stakeholders and executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to optimize government resource allocation
- Present findings to cabinet-level officials and legislative committees
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess implications for Tennessee operations
- Mentor junior analysts and lead research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of Tennessee state budget processes
- Proven track record of producing actionable policy recommendations
- Strong legislative relations experience preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
