Responsibilities
- Analyze complex geopolitical trends and draft high-impact policy briefings for senior leadership

- Represent the department at high-level international forums and bilateral negotiations
- Maintain rigorous oversight of policy implementation across 200+ global posts
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using classified and open-source intelligence
- Mentor junior analysts and ensure adherence to diplomatic protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of federal government policy experience with security clearance
- Proven expertise in at least two policy domains: security, trade, or diplomacy
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., R, Stata, Tableau)
- Exceptional written communication skills with published policy papers
- Experience managing multi-million dollar program budgets
- Demonstrated ability to operate in high-stakes diplomatic environments
- Fluency in at least one foreign language (Spanish/French/Arabic desirable)
