Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and recommend evidence-based policy solutions
- Conduct comprehensive research on public sector trends and best practices
- Develop detailed policy briefs for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives to implement state programs
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visual reports and presentations
- Maintain compliance with Ohio Revised Code and administrative regulations
- Mentor junior analysts through knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ohio residency required upon hire
- Valid Ohio driver's license (position may require travel)
