Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate healthcare policies affecting veterans' access to services in Georgia
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts on veteran care systems
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings and recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate with VA medical centers and community partners to implement new initiatives
- Monitor policy outcomes and recommend data-driven improvements
- Represent the VA in stakeholder meetings and public forums
- Manage policy research projects and supervise junior analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of federal government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in healthcare policy and veterans' affairs regulations
- Advanced quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Proficiency with policy analysis software (e.g., SAS, R)
- Active U.S. security clearance required
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of Georgia's healthcare landscape preferred
