Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze complex state legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Conduct quantitative research and prepare evidence-based policy recommendations
- Coordinate with state agencies, legislators, and stakeholders
- Manage multi-million dollar grant programs and budget allocations
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Oversee program implementation and compliance monitoring
- Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Ohio residency required upon hire
- Proven track record of successful legislative advocacy
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
