Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues across healthcare, education, and economic development sectors
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with state strategic goals
- Prepare detailed briefings and reports for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor federal and state legislative changes to assess impact on Georgia policies
- Lead data-driven policy evaluations using advanced statistical methods
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data analysis tools
- Proven ability to translate complex policy concepts for diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of Georgia state government operations and legislative processes
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
