Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues across state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for executive leadership
- Prepare detailed briefing materials and legislative testimony
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments impacting Ohio
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed policy initiatives
- Lead cross-functional projects with 10+ agency partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis (SPSS/R/Python)
- Proven ability to draft legislative documents and executive summaries
- Strong knowledge of Ohio state government operations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
