Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for city council initiatives
- Analyze complex datasets to assess policy impacts on Dallas communities
- Collaborate with 15+ municipal departments on cross-functional projects
- Present findings to elected officials and public stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ grant programs supporting Dallas neighborhoods
- Lead public engagement sessions across diverse city districts
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes affecting local governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years experience in municipal/government policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing data-driven policy frameworks
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
- Experience with Dallas city charter and municipal codes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
