Responsibilities
- Analyze complex municipal policies and recommend data-driven solutions to City Council
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives in urban development and community engagement
- Prepare comprehensive legislative reports and budget impact statements
- Coordinate stakeholder workshops with community leaders and advocacy groups
- Monitor state/federal compliance requirements for city programs
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee policy research workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government policy analysis experience with municipal focus
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS)
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and public outreach
- Deep knowledge of California local government regulations
- Valid California Driver's License
