Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive policy frameworks aligned with state strategic goals
- Analyze complex datasets to identify emerging trends and inform legislative recommendations
- Lead cross-functional task forces with agency directors and legislative liaisons
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and fiscal impact statements for the Governor's Office
- Coordinate public stakeholder engagements across 77 Oklahoma counties
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess state adaptation requirements
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies and policy development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Professional certification in Public Policy (CPPP) preferred
- Experience with Oklahoma state budget processes
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
