Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy impacts on economic development and workforce initiatives
- Develop legislative recommendations and strategic policy frameworks
- Collaborate with state agencies, legislators, and community stakeholders
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analytics
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess state-level implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, Stata)
- Deep knowledge of Washington state government operations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Valid Washington State driver's license
