Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations through quantitative/qualitative research
- Analyze legislation, regulations, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with legislative stakeholders and agency partners for policy alignment
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership
- Monitor implementation of policies and evaluate effectiveness through metrics
- Lead cross-functional task forces on high-priority initiatives
- Represent agency at public hearings and community forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- California residency required
