Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy briefs for city council initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on urban development challenges
- Develop implementation plans for equity-focused community programs
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on public safety and infrastructure
- Present findings to elected officials and stakeholder committees
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for grant-funded projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative recommendations
- Knowledge of Texas municipal governance structures
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
