Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies through quantitative/qualitative research
- Collaborate with state legislators on health legislation and budget proposals
- Analyze healthcare data trends to inform strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with federal/local health partners
- Present policy recommendations to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant-funded health equity programs
- Oversee compliance with state/federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS)
- Demonstrated success in health policy implementation
- Illinois residency required at time of hire
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare programs preferred
