Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues across state government operations
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for legislative and executive stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces on emerging public sector challenges
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess Ohio's compliance needs
- Lead public engagement initiatives through town halls and digital forums
- Maintain accurate policy databases and impact assessment tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management and interagency collaboration
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Ohio residency required at time of hire
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Clear background check and security clearance
