Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform policy recommendations
- Develop legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks for cabinet review
- Coordinate interagency task forces on infrastructure modernization projects
- Prepare comprehensive impact assessments for proposed legislation
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Manage grant programs supporting local economic development initiatives
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Pennsylvania's priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R/Stata)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative language
- Experience managing federal/state grant programs
- Security clearance eligibility required
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania's Sunshine Act and open records laws
