Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for federal programs
- Collaborate with congressional stakeholders, local governments, and community organizations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical modeling and stakeholder interviews
- Develop implementation plans for policy rollouts across 50 states
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees
- Monitor policy outcomes and prepare impact assessment reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of federal or state government policy experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, Stata) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
