Responsibilities
- Research and analyze state policies across healthcare, education, and economic development sectors
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for legislative review
- Collaborate with agency directors to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and update state protocols
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on emerging public issues
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and impact assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis frameworks and quantitative research
- Strong knowledge of Ohio legislative processes
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
