Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate federal policies related to counterterrorism and disaster response
- Analyze complex data to inform strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate with interagency partners including FEMA, FBI, and intelligence agencies
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for congressional hearings and executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional working groups to implement policy initiatives
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend adaptive policy frameworks
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience
- Proven expertise in homeland security or emergency management domains
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Strong knowledge of federal legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Active security clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across government/private sectors
