Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on complex policy issues affecting North Carolina communities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with state strategic goals
- Collaborate with legislative stakeholders and agency leadership to implement policy initiatives

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data analysis
- Proven ability to communicate complex policy concepts to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of North Carolina state government operations and legislative processes
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance
