Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft evidence-based recommendations for state initiatives
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to implement strategic policy reforms
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using advanced analytical tools
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage cross-functional projects with strict deadlines and deliverables
- Monitor federal regulations and assess impact on Massachusetts policies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS) and MS Office Suite
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of Massachusetts state government operations
