Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend data-driven solutions
- Develop policy briefs and implementation frameworks for city council review
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical software (SPSS, R)
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for municipal programs
- Present findings to executive leadership and community stakeholders
- Lead policy impact assessments and performance measurement systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in policy analysis frameworks and quantitative methods
- Experience with Dallas municipal processes preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- US citizenship required for federal compliance
- Advanced certification in public policy management (CPM) desirable
