Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for city council initiatives

- Prepare detailed briefing materials for public hearings and stakeholder meetings
- Manage grant-funded projects aligned with Oakland's strategic goals
- Conduct community outreach and gather constituent feedback
- Monitor implementation progress and policy effectiveness metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal government
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R)
- Proven track record in policy development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of California state/local government regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
