Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive policy proposals aligned with Ohio's strategic priorities
- Conduct in-depth research on federal/state regulations and their socioeconomic impacts
- Prepare high-stakes policy briefs and legislative testimony for executive leadership
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces to implement cross-departmental initiatives
- Analyze budgetary implications of policy alternatives using quantitative modeling
- Monitor emerging policy trends and recommend proactive adjustments
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with legislators, advocacy groups, and community leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Bachelor's with 8+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 5 years government/public sector policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in policy impact assessment methodologies
- Demonstrated success in translating complex data into actionable recommendations
- Deep knowledge of Ohio's legislative process and administrative code
- Professional certification in Public Policy Analysis (PPA) preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication with executive-level presentation experience
