Responsibilities
- Analyze economic data and fiscal policies to inform federal decision-making
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative recommendations for Congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on tax reform and budget allocation
- Lead stakeholder engagement with private sector and non-profit partners
- Monitor implementation of existing policies and evaluate effectiveness
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees
- Mentor junior analysts and manage research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal government or policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative analysis and economic modeling tools
- Deep understanding of U.S. fiscal policy and budget processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with legislative drafting and regulatory review
