Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate state-level policies using quantitative analysis and stakeholder interviews

- Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Oversee policy implementation monitoring and impact assessment frameworks
- Manage departmental budget forecasting models and economic impact analyses
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise policy research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Stata, or Python)
- Demonstrated expertise in California's legislative processes
- Superior written communication skills for policy briefs and reports
- Valid California driver's license
- Clearances: Background check and fingerprinting required
