Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives to implement state legislative priorities
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical software and public datasets
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess state compliance requirements
- Manage stakeholder engagement processes with public/private sector partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative testimony and executive summaries
- Ohio state residency required upon hire
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
