Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven policy recommendations for city council initiatives
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on urban development projects
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community organizations and industry partners
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes affecting metropolitan governance
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government or public sector policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, Stata)
- Expertise in policy impact assessment frameworks
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
