Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and evaluate complex state policies to recommend actionable improvements
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with state agencies and stakeholders to implement cross-functional initiatives
- Monitor federal and state legislative changes affecting Ohio's regulatory landscape
- Present findings to high-level officials through clear, data-driven reports
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on emerging policy challenges
- Manage policy implementation timelines and compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
- Deep knowledge of Ohio's legislative and regulatory processes
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
