Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate evidence-based policies for urban development, education, and social equity
- Analyze complex datasets to inform strategic recommendations for city council
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement policy initiatives
- Present findings to senior officials and community stakeholders
- Monitor federal regulations affecting DC governance
- Lead public engagement sessions to gather community input
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis (SPSS/R required)
- Deep understanding of DC's legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven project management with deliverable-driven approach
- Active security clearance preferred
