Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Develop policy recommendations aligned with Baltimore's strategic goals
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholder briefings
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives to implement policy changes
- Monitor legislative developments affecting municipal governance
- Lead community engagement sessions to gather public input
- Manage policy implementation timelines and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, Stata)
- Expertise in municipal budgeting and grant writing
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with Baltimore city government operations preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
