Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate municipal policies across housing, transportation, and sustainability sectors
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community groups, nonprofits, and interagency partners
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft comprehensive policy recommendations
- Prepare executive briefings and council presentations using data visualization tools
- Manage cross-functional project teams with Agile methodologies
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for municipal operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis (SQL, R, or Python)
- Proven track record in stakeholder facilitation and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of Washington State public procurement regulations
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Portfolio demonstrating policy impact metrics
