Responsibilities
- Research and analyze public health trends to inform policy development
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with state agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders
- Monitor implementation of public health legislation and regulations
- Present findings to legislative bodies and public forums
- Manage grant-funded projects and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Expertise in health equity and social determinants of health
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Illinois residency required at time of hire
- Valid Illinois driver's license
