Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive policy research and analysis for state initiatives
- Develop actionable recommendations for legislative and administrative action
- Collaborate with agency leaders, legislators, and community stakeholders
- Prepare clear, persuasive policy briefs and presentations
- Monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Mentor junior analysts and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Expertise in Oregon state government processes and procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
