Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and legislative trends to inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and implement state health regulations
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess impacts on Colorado's public health framework
- Lead interdepartmental initiatives addressing health equity and access disparities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (Bachelor's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Colorado's legislative and regulatory processes
- Experience with stakeholder management and public policy advocacy
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) preferred
