Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and regulations to inform policy recommendations
- Lead cross-agency task forces on emerging public health challenges
- Develop quantitative and qualitative policy briefs for Congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate with state health departments on program implementation
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed healthcare initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts on federal compliance requirements
- Present findings at interagency policy forums and congressional hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of federal policy analysis experience
- Expertise in healthcare systems, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, or health economics
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience with OMB and Congressional reporting processes
- Professional certification (e.g., MPA, MPP) strongly preferred
