- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory frameworks using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Facilitate cross-agency stakeholder workshops and public engagement sessions
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative testimony materials
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments
- Manage grant funding programs for community-based initiatives
- Lead special projects addressing emerging public sector challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government policy analysis or legislative affairs
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis and policy modeling tools
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder engagement processes
- Strong knowledge of California legislative processes and regulations
- Superior written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
