Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and regulations to assess socioeconomic impacts on Boston metropolitan communities
- Lead cross-departmental research initiatives using advanced data modeling and stakeholder engagement frameworks
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Manage multi-year implementation plans for statewide equity and accessibility initiatives
- Present findings to legislative bodies, public forums, and intergovernmental task forces
- Monitor emerging policy trends and legislative developments affecting Massachusetts residents
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, or related field with 5+ years progressive experience
- Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative policy analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of Massachusetts state government operations and legislative processes
- Exceptional written communication skills with demonstrated success crafting policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and statistical analysis software (R/SPSS)
- Experience managing complex stakeholder coalitions across government, nonprofit, and private sectors
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and ability to travel statewide for site visits and meetings
