Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze complex policy recommendations for city departments
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using municipal datasets
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for city leadership
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces on cross-cutting initiatives
- Monitor implementation of adopted policies and evaluate outcomes
- Advise elected officials on emerging trends and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and public hearings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Massachusetts municipal government structure
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
