Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory frameworks for compliance implications
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for agency leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using state data systems and stakeholder interviews
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces to align policy objectives across agencies
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership teams
- Monitor federal policy changes and recommend state-level adaptations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing legislative testimony and regulatory impact statements
- Ohio residency required (per state employment guidelines)
- Valid Ohio driver's license for inter-agency travel
