Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues to inform strategic recommendations
- Develop and evaluate policy options using quantitative/qualitative data analysis
- Collaborate with legislators, stakeholders, and agency leadership on policy implementation
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and testimony for legislative committees
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes and assess operational impacts
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute policy initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, R, Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience with policy development and evaluation processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with executive-level experience
- Knowledge of Ohio state government operations and legislative processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Professional certification (e.g., PPAP) preferred
