Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory frameworks to inform policy recommendations
- Conduct quantitative research using statistical modeling and data visualization tools
- Collaborate with agency directors to develop 5-year strategic implementation plans
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership boards
- Manage cross-functional project teams with budgets exceeding $500K
- Monitor policy outcomes through KPI tracking and stakeholder feedback analysis
- Prepare comprehensive briefing papers for gubernatorial decision-making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in presenting complex data to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Colorado's legislative process and state budget cycles
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent preferred)
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
