Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and legislative proposals for economic and social impact
- Develop comprehensive research reports and data-driven recommendations for state agencies

- Present findings to legislative committees and senior government officials
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments
- Manage grant programs and compliance with state regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and lead policy task forces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with budget analysis and fiscal policy development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with policy writing samples
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation preferred
