Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with state strategic goals
- Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to inform legislative proposals
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor implementation of enacted policies and evaluate effectiveness

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with legislative research and drafting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of New York State government operations and regulations
- Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
- Valid New York State driver's license (when applicable)
