Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate state-level environmental health policies using data-driven methodologies
- Collaborate with federal agencies, local governments, and community stakeholders on policy implementation
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching emerging public health threats and mitigation strategies
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for executive leadership
- Monitor compliance with state/federal regulations and recommend regulatory adjustments
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ with rigorous reporting requirements
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field (required)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Demonstrated success in developing equity-focused environmental health policies
- Expertise in Colorado Revised Statutes and federal regulatory frameworks
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Ability to secure and manage federal/state grants
- Valid Colorado driver's license
